| 28 Jan 10 Suppliers page |
| Tonight I started a page listing BDSM suppliers that I've made purchases from over the years and are prepared to recommend. This really is a case of "put your money where your mouth is", rather than the comprehensive lists of vendors you see on sites like IC or TSR. | | 2 Sep 09 Cage pit |
| Over the Bank Holiday weekend, I built and assembled a wood-lined cage pit at Bridgewood. [more...]
| | 19 Aug 09 This weekend at Bridgewood |
PhoenixAmber
has written a great blog about the weekend, including the Ladder Rack she and EricStanton built using some of the cut hazel poles. holly and I also got a campfire going with some baked potatoes so we have officially Cooked At Bridgewood now [more...]
| | 1 Jul 09 Making a "flyprod" |
| Electric fly swatter bats have been around for a few years, and they're a tempting toy for BDSM use. When I first got one, I did wonder about adapting one to be a bit more like a cattle prod, and I've finally got round to it, with all the components from Maplins or B&Q. [more...]
| | 2 Jun 09 Duct tape |
A picture in honour of the ever versatile duct tape, which was involved in both of my last two posts. It sticks, it hangs bin liners to make bins, makes arrows on the floor, holds seats onto pony carts, and metres and metres of it can make padded handles! | | 30 May 09 Photos and construction notes for Glider pony cart |
| I've had some requests for more information about the cart I used at the Preston indoor pony day, and so I've taken some more pictures and tried to explain how it all fits together.
The parts are all readily available from DIY centres (eg B&Q) and bike shops (eg Halfords), and you'd only need a hacksaw, vice, drill, and metal files to build one.
| | 24 May 09 Yesterday's Preston indoor ponyplay day |
The date of the long-planned Preston indoor ponyplay day finally arrived
yesterday. It was one of the best times I've ever had at a BDSM event, and
a credit to everyone who took part or helped out, and to LadyPandoraCP and
sparky1 who organised it [more...]
| | 17 Nov 08 Carts and rides |
| Writing a review of The Human Pony reminded me of the prototype cart I made at the start of the year, and yesterday I tried using it as a handcart for moving firewood logs across the jumble of branches left by felling. It worked surprisingly well when pushed and guided over obstacles. [more...]
| | 10 Sep 07 Machine shed of horrors |
| A link doing the rounds at the moment, the
Machine
shed of horrors:
"It's all interesting, but some of it is 'interesting' in the same way an H.R. Giger painting is interesting: cool, mechanical, but indescribably creepy. Hooterville steampunk meets the Tower of London. Rather than try to describe it, here are some pictures I took during a recent visit."
| | 12 Aug 07 Plunder! |
| I thought I'd post some pictures of some recent acquisitions: some cuff locks, a great flogger by Steve Vakesh, and a headcage which I've subsequently modified. [more...]
