11 Oct 05   First Insex, now Midori
I knew that www.Insex.com was closing following the sabre rattling from the FBI about stepping up the persucution of SM erotica, but I hadn't realised the Midori's www.BeautyBound.com had shut too :( (Did she a great rope performance at Torture Garden on Friday btw :) ) Of course, this is part of the wider conspiracy that Bush and Bliar have cooked up, and which www.Backlash-uk.org.uk is countering in the UK following the Bliar-government's proposals to persecute people for the mere possession of SM erotica.
1 Oct 05   Zentai bondage
lili got a couple of Zentai suits this week, and we're really impressed with how great they look in real life. I've uploaded a couple of pictures: one of lili's hands in a pair of Irish Eights handcuffs, and another of her in some iron stocks. I think you'll agree, the black suit really shows the steel off :)
29 Sep 05   Jack Straw or jack boots?
What is happening to this country? Jack Straw was heckled yesterday by an 80-year old labour party member who fled the Nazis in 1937. The man was manhandled out of the conference, as was the member sitting next to him who told the stewards they were out of order. Then the 80-year old was detained by police using the Terrorism Act when he tried to reenter - so much (again) for these draconian laws just being rushed through for dealing with terrorists. Today we get one of Tony Bliar's meaningless and too-late to be useful apologies. [more...]
25 Sep 05   "Liberty in Restraint" film
This looks interesting - might take a while to get here though.
3 Sep 05   Engine oil, derelict factories and naked women
I've added a link to Calvato to my Bondage Links page: "This German site is billed as a photographic rather than a bondage site, but there are still lots of bondage and fetishy images. There is a strong emphasis on out-door "industrial" locations, especially in the extensive archives; and you could be forgiven for thinking all the derelict factories of Germany and Poland are filled with naked women smeared with engine oil and chained to rusting machinery." So yes, you're either [more...]
24 Aug 05   Google Talk
Google have indeed put up a new instant messaging system today, which you can already use if you've got a Google Gmail email address. (I'm uktanos@gmail.com on both.) The most interesting thing is that it's based on the open XMPP/Jabber standard and they've explicitly committed to "Client Choice", "Service Choice" and "Platform Choice" (so you won't have to use their client, their network or stick to Windows to talk to Google Talk users.) [more...]
16 Aug 05   LateXtra magazine and fishy Skin Two statistics
I got hold of a copy of this quarter's Skin Two LateXtra magazine today (Issue 21, Autumn 2005.) Along the usual mix of adverts, event reviews and adverts for Skin Two products, it has some odd claims about website popularity... [more...]
13 Aug 05   Club Lash
Another great night: all of the Tunnel at Legends at that point where there's no unoccupied space without it being "elbows in your ribs" heaving. Great use of camouflage netting to separate areas off. Lots nostalgia with old Lash posters right back to 1998 up on the walls :)
10 Aug 05   New York Part III: TES meeting
I've already written two posts about going to New York: first about Gloria Brame's talk at Paddles and then about New York shops and the Leather Pride weekend. This is the last of the three topics I'd planned to write about, and has taken the longest because of the knotty subject matter - Soulhuntre's "Punishment as a Science" talk - so it's ended up in two halves itself. [more...]
8 Aug 05   You know I mentioned armed police guarding KF2?
What a great post from the other side of the gun! :)
