There's been some discussion on IC about this month's issue of Bizarre Magazine, so yesterday I went and found a copy for the first time in more than a year. There always was some BDSM or Fetish content, but this month has features on BDSM and the law, flesh hook suspensions, and that Kaotian "slave master" in Darlington. Today (Sunday) I put a page of ownership icons online on The Slave Register, and added them to the TSR system so people can show them on their web board posts (so far - other places in the system to follow.) I think they might be more generally useful too, since we don't really have symbols for this kind of thing amongst the various flags and signs that BDSM/Leather has acquired. [more...]

Several people have uploaded pictures by Grigbertz over the last few months, but I've only now come across his website itself. Most of his drawings involve elfine captives in various types of steel restraint or subservience, and the one I've uploaded here is beautifully bound between two iron hoops by Clejuso handcuffs and leg irons. 23 May 06   "Gorean" web searches this weekend

On Thursday 18th and Friday 19th May most of the national newspapers in the UK picked up a local story about a man claiming to be running a "Kaotian" variant of Gor, who had some unwelcome attention from the police (but nothing for them to bring charges about.) All of the stories prominently mentioned "Goreans" and told readers they are a widespread "sex slave" subculture in the UK (with 25,000 members according to some versions.) As a result, I've seen a dramatic increase in the number of visits to my websites from people searching with Google etc for "Goreans". [more...]

Since last week a copy of John Frederick Lewis's "An Intercepted Correspondence" has been hanging above the fireplace in my study. I originally bought the print in the summer of 1997, and it's been in more than one frame and hung on several walls since.
