25 Apr 10   Fencing trip and more photos

Yesterday mia and I went down to Bridgewood with a van load of fencing, both some 6ft high boundary fencing and some wire panels for a "secure" area within the wood itself. I'll be posting more about this once it's assembled. I've also uploaded some more pictures today, including the new wooden signpost at the T-Junction. [more...]

I've now posted details of this event on the IC O&P group, following a similar format to the previous Manchester and London meetings.
13 Apr 10   Updating the Bridgewood website

I've now finished a major update to the web pages about Bridgewood, that had been left unchanged since late 2008 in many cases despite all the work done in 2009 and earlier in 2010. The description pages now link to more details of the various areas of the wood, and some of the equipment now installed there. The new aims page explains how BDSM, forestry, and wildlife objectives all fit together.

22 Mar 10   Skin Two North

mia and I went to the Skin Two North events in Leeds at the weekend: first the fetish market, and then the Ball in the evening. This was also mia's first outing beyond munches and local monthly nights like Club Lash, and therefore on a different scale to what she's been used to. We enjoyed them both, especially the Ball, and came away with sketches of us on the night by Dr Geof (of Fetishman fame.) [more...]
17 Mar 10   Bridgewood in March

Since my last post, I've finished the North Ride and begun work on the South Ride. Together these two form a circular track near the perimeter of the (square-ish) Bridgewood site, with the existing Middle Ride as a diagonal, rather like the red part of a "no parking" sign.
