Cage pit

Over the Bank Holiday weekend, I built and assembled a wood-lined cage pit at Bridgewood.

This is a roughly 3ft cube, with wooden floor and walls, and a cage door across the top. I've not had a chance to try it yet, but it's good to have some secure "storage" on site now :) Having said that, most of the time it will be storing equipment in the dry (a couple of cement bags in buckets and some wood at the moment) rather than submissives.

It's set about 2ft into the ground on the edge of the Glade, in a mound of earth left over from levelling the access roadway. This reduces the risk of waterlogging in wet weather, as the floor is roughly level with the general ground level. Normally, it will be protected by the roofing-felt covered top in this picture, which should keep rain and small animals out!

Even though I've treated it, I expect the plywood to rot over time, but I hope to get a couple of seasons out of the boards before I have to think about renewing any of them.

Comment by Dani Graves on Fri 23 Jul 10, 3:44 PM:

I have to say I am loving this cage pit, I think it is perfect for dis-obedient slaves. I also have to say I am a little jealous of the grounds you have, I have been wanting some grounds with woodland for sometime now, for a business idea, however my funds don't allow not to mention how hard it is to find such a thing within my ideal location.

Kind Regards Dani
