Tanos's pictures (394)
In addition to the pictures below, there are pages dedicated to images of
Prisons,
Slave Markets, and
Coffles and slave chains; and
raw Photostreams with some
of my photographs.
| 1 Mar 07 | "Harem Life, Constantinople", by J.F. Lewis | |
| 23 Feb 07 | Triune brain MacLean's Triune brain | |
| 22 Feb 07 | The Red Silk Slave Part of a photograph by Marcus Ranum
which is inspired by the cheesecake artist Frahm (including his trademark fallen panties and celery)
and mentioned in
my weblog and
web board posts. | |
| 3 Jan 07 | GG kissing her owner's shoe from "The pet" This screenshot is used in
my review of the film. | |
| 3 Jan 07 | Global Slave Market website from "The Pet" This screenshot, of the character Philip looking at a slave's profile page on the website of the "Global Slave Market", is used in
my review of the film. | |
| 3 Jan 07 | Ear tag from "The pet" GG's ear tag, with her registration number (in a fictional slave register?) This screenshot is used in
my review of the film. | |
| 3 Jan 07 | Slave contract in "The Pet" I've written more about this still from The Pet in
my review of
the film, and the document shown has been taken off one of the
many BDSM and M/s websites which have versions of it. | |
| 3 Jan 07 | TSR certificate in "The Pet" A real TSR certificate used in "The Pet" without my permission and those named on it as far as I know. This screenshot is in turn used in
my review of the film. | |
| 3 Jan 07 | Cage from "The Pet" Dungeon
Steel's pyramid cage, being used to hold GG in "The Pet". This screenshot is used in
my review of the film. | |
| 12 Dec 06 | Slave chain from Llyn Cerrig Bach, Anglesey This chain dates from the period immediately before the Roman invasion of Britain, and was found with other sacrificial offerings in a lake on the isle of Anglesey. It is not clear whether the slaves it held were a chain gang of labourers, captives to be sacrificed themselves, or slaves to be traded for profit elsewhere. | |
| 8 Dec 06 | Slave coffle This mid-nineteenth century engraving is probably associated with David Livingston's expeditions to East Africa, partly to document and help suppress the slave trade there. Most of the men are placed in "Goree sticks", with their necks held in a Y-shaped tree branch by an iron bolt or leather strap. | |
