Tonight I've posted the listings for the next The Warehouse event at Exodus in Birmingham on Informed Consent and on FetLife. I've also updated www.thewarehouse.org.uk to include the date, and it will be a good way of closing the Open Air season which finishes in October.

mia and I went to @Crimson_Crowbar in Bolton yesterday the for the first Kink Start night and I really enjoyed the evening

The venue has so much potential but even at this early stage it has some great kit and is a very workable location for play events. Well done to @Mr_Smith_UK, @charliecoxx and the rest of the team who've worked to get it this far already!

11 Mar 12 4 weeks to The Warehouse

With just under four weeks to The Warehouse on Saturday 7th April, I've added a provisional timetable on the event thread on IC, with a request for comments and more ideas. It now includes sprint and distance pony cart races, plus a show/parade of puppies, kittens, and ponies.

12 Feb 12 Great weekend!

I've had a great weekend, with another O&P Open in Manchester on Saturday afternoon, followed by the dinner, and then Club Lash in the evening. Lash seemed particularly busy with lots of people we know there. Today I've bought some Bridgewood related hardware, and have been putting attachment points for chains on some 7kg cast iron balls that I'm turning into ball-and-chains.

mia and I made it to @Club_Lash in Manchester for the first time in a while: we've had something else on, either kink or vanilla, every second Saturday of the month since the autumn. We talked to some old and new faces, and I finally got one of @TheProf's Black Box electrical devices. I also did a bit of a consensual-nonconsent scene with mia in the dungeon. I think that's the first time I've ever set out to do that in public play. mia enjoys that style of play even more than me (at least afterwards, of course

27 Nov 11 The Warehouse yesterday

Thank you so much, every one who came and made The Warehouse such a great event! We had 60 people through the door plus about half a dozen more who were helping to run the event and also participated. I counted 12 pony carts, and so this was one of the biggest pony play events ever in the UK. [more...]

20 Sep 11 GLLA & the Great Lakes M/s Contest in Indianapolis

Last month @mia and I went to the GLLA ("Great Lakes Leather Alliance") weekend in Indianapolis after our week in New York. GLLA is a one of several regional leather conventions in the US that have an M/s strand, and it covers the area to the west of the Master/slave Conference in Washingon that I went to in 2007. Both events are very different to what we do in the UK, although the substance of people's BDSM and relationships are quite similar. [more...]
