mia and I made it to @Club_Lash in Manchester for the first time in a while: we've had something else on, either kink or vanilla, every second Saturday of the month since the autumn. We talked to some old and new faces, and I finally got one of @TheProf's Black Box electrical devices. I also did a bit of a consensual-nonconsent scene with mia in the dungeon. 27 Nov 11 The Warehouse yesterday

Thank you so much, every one who came and made The Warehouse such a great event! We had 60 people through the door plus about half a dozen more who were helping to run the event and also participated. I counted 12 pony carts, and so this was one of the biggest pony play events ever in the UK. [more...]

20 Sep 11 GLLA & the Great Lakes M/s Contest in Indianapolis

Last month @mia and I went to the GLLA ("Great Lakes Leather Alliance") weekend in Indianapolis after our week in New York. GLLA is a one of several regional leather conventions in the US that have an M/s strand, and it covers the area to the west of the Master/slave Conference in Washingon that I went to in 2007. Both events are very different to what we do in the UK, although the substance of people's BDSM and relationships are quite similar. [more...]

I've started a thread on IC about this afternoon peer workshop in Birmingham for BDSM activities that normally need outdoor space. When Bridgewood closes for the winter, this is a chance to carry on doing things indoors

11 Sep 11 Fem Sub Social Club

@mia, @secretsmile_101 and I went to the first Fem Sub Social Club in Birmingham last night, and it turned out to be a very well run event with a great atmosphere. It was also our first visit to the amazing Exodus venue. [more...]

Earlier this month mia and I had a trip to the US, with a week in New York followed by the GLLA weekend conference event in Indianapolis. mia and I are back today from a week in New York followed by the GLLA weekend in Indianapolis. I'm going to blog about the highlights later in the week, but as well as touristy things we managed a TES meeting and various BDSM shops in New York, and some really good workshops at GLLA.

8 Jun 11 Last weekend's Bridgewood event day

We had another good event day on Saturday, and mia and I stayed over again. The weather was good at first, but turned into cloud and some rain so we were glad of the shelter during the day. I also managed to try out this year's model of the Glider pony cart with mia, and she managed to negotiate the whole of the Middle and North Rides - over half a kilometre.

8 May 11 Yesterday's Bridgewood event day

We had the first event day of 2011, and I think it was the best one yet

The weather was a bit off and on, with both thunder showers and warm sunshine during the daytime and evening, but the fire outside and space we now have in the log cabin kept the socialising going, and people went off to play in the wood at different times. Thanks to the gas lamp and the company, people who were just intending to stay for the day were still tearing themselves away at 9pm and it all ran very smoothly. [more...]
