I've now started a page collecting images and descriptions of Ancient and Orientalist slave markets. Currently it's mostly the paintings and engravings I've scanned in the past, plus some contemporary descriptions.

An "economic" analysis of polygyny has appeared on Slate, written by Tim Harford for the FT earlier this month. popi has been living in my house for the past month, and tonight she has officially joined my wonderful lili as part of the household. I've discovered a lot even during these first few weeks, and the similarities between starting a poly D/s relationship and starting Enslavement have been quite striking: trust, transparency and stability are the central issues in both contexts.
