I'm writing this from the hotel room in London before tomorrow's TSR Meeting. The drive down from Manchester was only about 3hrs 20mins and we're all set for a day round the shops followed by the meeting from 5pm. I've also got some of the new TSR flyers with me and I'm hoping to place a few of them in Bondage/SM orientated shops - not so much in the fetish fashion shops the girls are hoping for

As you can see from my books page, I dived straight into "The Medici: Godfathers of the Renaissance" after finishing "Donnie Brasco" and its account of the 1970's American mafia. One of the footnotes in Strathern's description of the Medici's rise to power is the existence of domestic slavery in fifteenth century Italy, and I've done some more digging with some interesting results. 6 May 07 Master/slave UK mailing list resurrected

The Master-slave-uk list on Yahoo Groups dates back to early 2000 but it's been on ice for several years now. However, as the number of UK people talking about their Master/slave relationships on TSR grows, I've opened Master-slave-uk up again to new members.

The Slave Register is planning a meeting for people in or seeking ownership relationships, at a venue in central London on Saturday the 9th of June, from 5pm onwards.
