This weekend at Bridgewood

July's event day took place this weekend, with 9 of us enjoying the sunshine and the possibilities of the wood. On Sunday, mia and I went back and I attacked the undergrowth appearing on the North Ride with a brushcutter.

The event days have always been the day before the BBB in Birmingham, and for people travelling some distance this means you can make a weekend of it. Most of this weekend's visitors were doing that, especially since it was also the Peer Rope Workshop and TrainerBryan was leading a pony and pet play demo at the BBB itself.

Since the days aren't planned out, they range from very play orientated to very social, and yesterday was a bit of a mix. In the Glade, it was just like an open air munch.

With the weather being miserable during the week and overcast with a shower on Saturday morning, we weren't sure how things would work out. But the sun came out around lunchtime and every one who had said, did come. One of the things I've learnt is that if there's somewhere dry to sit out short showers then most days in the summer turn out ok.

We're looking forward to August's event, and hoping it will be equally successful.
