1000 posts a day

For the first time, the weblogs and web boards on IC passed the 1000 posts-a-day mark yesterday, up from about 150 when IC.2 went live on 18 January.

We're now getting 250,000 page-views per day, and the ability of the site to cope with this is largely due to the new hardware installed two weeks ago (a dual Xeon box), which was mostly paid for with the donations and sponsorship banners. Thanks :) - you know who you are - it produces real benefits, doesn't it? :-D
